HELP ME LIVE | HELP ME READ WADUPE
The Help Me Live/Help Me Read project is based on the specific needs of the village of Wadupe in Southern Sudan. The people have expressed the need for clean water, trained teachers, and a new school building. They have to walk miles to get water that is sometimes disease invested and dirty. The 14 teachers in the village are all volunteers and all have about a middle school level of education; and the school building is made of mud and grass that is destroyed by the rains every year. This project not only helps by directly giving to the people, but we largely focus on educating the people and enabling them to achieve a greater life for themselves.
The first phase is Help Me Live. This phase focuses on basic necessities of life, such as clean water, latrines, and health education. The second phase, Help Me Read, focuses on educating the people. We need to train the teachers or the children will not receive a quality education, and they will not be able to go any further in school than middle school. We need to help the people build a new building so the children will not have to meet under mango trees, and so they will not have to cancel school when it rains. They have cried out to us Help Me Live….Help Me Read.

The Homeless Kit is a quick and simple way to make a huge difference in someone's life. With the Homeless Kit you can easily provide a person in need with basic necessities such as toiletries, food, comfort, and the love of Jesus Christ.
